Although located in the middle of Romania, the Secular Oaks Reservation gathered us along with wedding vendors, planners and videographer from all the corners of the country.
For a few months, we and the two wedding planners from Wedding Details have thought about the concept: colors, materials, textures, the perfect vendors for the photo session’s theme: an autumn wedding, dark and a little bit twisted.
Mugur de Zof came with the perfect table setup: an oak-leafs-garland with branches and deer horns, burgundy and black candles, black napkins, golden plates and tablewear.
“It’s all about details” – they say, so Wedding Details found further more vendors that completed the scenario: mystic aerial plants by Aerium, wooden accessories by Woodish, glasses written calligraphically in gold by Charmink Calligraphy. The delicious natural tartes were cooked by Tarte Mici and created in the event’s theme.
We all wanted a different kind of stationary so we opted for a handmade one by G+M handmade paper – a special paper with plants insertions made especially for this wedding in this location.
The wedding stationary was completed with vows and accents written calligraphically in gold by Charmink Calligraphy.
The weds, Tisha and Victor, fans of rock music, lovers of nature with mystic energetic qualities were very natural in our landscape. Her black wedding dress was designed by Denis Predescu – architect and fashion designer. Victor’s burgundy and navy costume & accesories were tailored by London Tailors. Tisha’s head piece was specially made by Margaux – Delicate Craft and their contemporary wedding rings were designed by Contemporia. The marvelous natural wedding bouquet was created by Bloom Bloom having in mind the location, the color palette and the wedding dress. The bride was fabulous due to the twisted touch of the makeup artist The Fab Squad.
Dumniciuc Bogdan Films, the videographer, caught all the great details of the wedding and made a short clip that gives you shivers down the spine. That was the intention after all… it was a dark and a little bit twisted photo session!
